FREE Second Saturday Artist Open Studio Tour In June! Saturday, June 11th, 12pm to 5pm, FREE RiHo Art District Tour Stops Off At Wazee Union, 3501 Wazee St., Denver, CO 80216 & Walnut Workshop, 3525 Walnut Street Denver CO 80205. As part of the RiNo Art Safari, Wazee Union and Walnut Workshop will host an afternoon of art & entertainment. Resident artists will be giving scheduled demonstrations. This will be Wazee Union's biggest Second Saturday yet! Our resident creative individuals will welcome visitors to view works in progress and tour their unique spaces. All are invited to explore over 80 of these individual studios. Many of our residents will give scheduled demonstrations, talks and performances every half hour from 12:30pm until 4:30pm at both Wazee Union and Walnut Workshop. The Wazee Union courtyard will become a stage for an eclectic line up of live music while Walnut Workshop will host a parking lot "art fest" showcasing music, live entertainment and of course art for sale! Food trucks will be nearby selling sweet and savory food and refreshments to visitors. Denver's largest art community will be an important stop on the RiNo Art Safari. At Wazee Union, demonstrations, performances, and speaking engagements will commence at 12:30pm featuring Thomas Scharfenberg ‘s mural painting. Followed by Daniel Crosier & Vincent Cantillon’s sculpture demonstration, and short film presentations by Paul Bruning & Crosier. Cinda Milhoan will be demonstrating Silver Ring. Painter Nick Hughes digital vector demonstration, with more to be announced. Walnut Workshop parking lot "Art Fest" featuring live bands and DJ’s (to be announced), visual artists and pieces available for sale. Food vendors at both locations include Fiddle My Griddle, Hometown Eats Smokehouse, and Quiero Arepas. Followed by an After Party, 5pm, at Wazee Union. Wazee Union is the largest creative community in Colorado. Comprising nearly 30,000 square feet across two locations, Wazee Union is the creative home of more than 130 individuals.
