December 10th Second Saturday Art Walk

Mark your calendar, December 10th is around the corner! During Second Saturday creative residents and artists will display their art and open their studios to the public! There will also be live music and a food truck! Keep reading there’s more.. Besides being a Virgo and being bummed out by bare feet, Jay Shaw is December’s featured artist!! I know you have seen those awesome band posters and designs for DeVotchKa and Arcade Fire. Well here is your chance to see and meet the artist! Jaw is a poster artist and has been making posters for movies and bands for the past few years. He has made gig posters for Gene Ween, DeVotchKa, Medeski, Martin & Wood, Railroad Earth, Rhymesayers, Dessa, Pogo, Arcade Fire, Codes in the Clouds, The Wood Brothers, Ghostland Observatory, Astronautalis, and Polica. Swans- just to name a few. Jay doesn’t stop there. He also made around 30 movie posters! If you have not seen his work you should not miss this chance! Toys for Tots! This is your chance to give those kids the Christmas present they are wishing for. We are hosting a silent auction to raise money for Toys for Tots. We previously handed out blank kidrobots toys, which will be completed and designed by local artists and companies! They are completely unique and one of a kind! Come give a kidrobot a place to call home!
