February 11th, 2012 Second Saturday Art Walk
and Student Competition
The Space Creators host a juried art competition during February’s Second Saturday Art Walk and Open Studios!
The art walk will showcase and exhibit contemporary artwork by current students in the state of Colorado. It will be held in the RiNo art district of Denver from 7:00-11:00 pm at two locations:
Wazee Union (3501 Wazee St. Denver 80216) and
The Walnut Workshop (3525 Walnut St. Denver 80205)
Artwork will be hung for two weeks from February 11th - February 25th, 2012.
Artists may list a sale price for artwork, there is no commission taken for sold pieces.
Submission requirements:
•
Open to all current students attending a college or university in the state of CO
•
$5.00 fee for each piece entered (this includes submission and hang fees)
•
2-D artwork only
•
Artwork must be ready to hang
•
Included information: name, medium, year, price or NFS, school
•
Artwork must be dropped off between January 31- February 8, 2012
Drop off Location: Wazee Union (3501 Wazee St. Denver 80216)

Prizes:
•
Cash Prizes will be awarded for 1st- 3rd place
1st- $50 cash prize
2nd- $25 cash prize
3rd- $10 cash prize
*All winners receive a two-week exhibition of their work in the Laundry on Lawrence Gallery (2701 Lawrence St. Denver)

Ribbons will be hung and displayed for the Second Saturday Art Walk on February 11th, 2012 from 7-11pm.
